Guidelines for abstract submission
Abstract submission is closed. Re-opening and new dates will be communicated as soon as possible.
Abstract submissios will be open from
February 15th to May 1st 2020. Each registered participant is welcomed to submit and present maximum 2 contributions.
Abstracts must be written according to the the template and cannot exceed 2 pages including bibliography and figures.
Abstracts should be saved as PRESENTINGAUTHORSURNAME.docx and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee for their acceptance. The notification of acceptance for oral presentations will be emailed by May 15th 2020. Full payment of the registration fee is required for acceptance.
By submitting the abstract all authors agree that, in case of acceptance, it will be published in the electronic "Book of Abstracts" which will be downloadable from the congress website.
Guidelines for oral presentations
The duration of the different contributions at AICAT2020 are:
- Plenary lectures (PL): 45 min
- Invited lectures (IL): 25 min + 5 min for discussions
- Oral presentations (OP): 12 min + 3 min for discussions
PowerPoint files with oral presentations should be given on site to the organizers as early as possible, latest before the first lecture on the day of the talk. If any specific facility should be required, please contact the conference secretariat in advance.
Guidelines for poster presentations
The maximum posters size should be A0 (841 × 1189 mm or 33.11 × 46.81 in) in portrait orientation (landscape posters will not be accepted).
We encourage all presenting authors to put a picture of themselves in an upper corner of the poster. The quick identification of the author will favour scientific discussions.
Each abstract will be assigned a poster number that will be communicated to the presenting author. Posters will be permanently exposed, during the meeting.
Special Issue of Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry
Selected papers based on oral and poster presentations at the Conference will be published after standard peer review, in a special issue of the Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry (2018 Impact Factor: 2.471).
